SECOND TEST STUDY GUIDE

Dear Students! I hope this note finds you in the best of your health. I wish to inform you that I have revised the scope of the second test. :-( (and some people may be :-| )The reason is that it will be counted not in addition to the first test, but as "best of the two". It means if you scored 14 marks in first test and 18 marks in the second test, you will finally have 18 marks recorded as your grade. Therefore the scope should overlap that of the first test. Following is some important information about the second test:

The second test will be held on Thursday April 25th in class
Maximum Marks=20 and Time allowed=Exactly One Hour
Scope: Chapter 6, 9 and 10 and fixed size partitioning from chapter 7
Topics Included:
Chapter 6: 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.6, 6.7
Chapter 7: 7.1, 7.2 (only fixed partitions of equal or different sizes)
Chapter 9: 9.1, 9.2, 9.3
Chapter 10: 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5

Please send me an email or tell me if you want any of the included topics to be revised. I am moving the revision of topics to fishbowl room so that we can utilize the lecture time more efficiently. Time for the fishbowl room sessions will be set in consultation with the students. Have a good week!!
